I'm on the hilltop again staring at the Madison skyline, sitting, reminiscing about when my best friends and I knew it was there time down there, but it was our time up here.
And though it seems so distant, my memories are all so clear.
I'm finding comfort to know that it's still my time up here.
And now I'm 33.
I isolate my friends and my own family.
I wallow in regrets and insecurities.
I know who I should be, but somewhere inside me all of those days are just distant memories.
And I always strive for a feeling, for a moment to hold onto.

I'm disengaging again, and running from all of my problems.
I'll sit here reminiscing about the days where I had nowhere to go, and nothing to do, but now those days are through.
